👉 A woman whose husband has been pretending to go to work for THREE MONTHS — should she get a divorce?
👉 A woman living with her husband in his parents’ basement wondering if it’s finally time to move on
👉 Plus plenty of chaos, bad ideas, and brutally honest takes along the way

Dave and Travis debate how much “saving a baby’s life” is worth, what to do about drunk dials from the elderly, and where the revision limit is on repeatedly racist drawings. All in the first Ask Dave of 2026.

It’s our extremely cool holiday episode where we and our guest Allison Smith solve prison reform, roast AI therapy, argue about kids loitering at McDonald’s, and accidentally give sincere advice about loneliness.

Dave and Travis are BACK from Thanksgiving break — stomachs full, brains rebooted, and ready to deliver the best (and most unlicensed) advice the universe has to offer. And this week, they’re joined by the hilarious Daunte Cordova for a chaotic, brutally honest, adults-only episode of Ask Dave.
This week’s questions go HARD:
👉 If you’re graduating high school 10 years late… should you walk with the actual teenagers?
👉 What do you do when you love your partner, but they’re basically a cardboard cutout in bed?
👉 Plus: Dave realizes he may have ignored one too many red flags with his last therapist. Oops.
Expect comedy. Expect chaos. Expect way too much honesty.
It’s funny, it’s raunchy, and it’s 100% FOR ADULTS ONLY — so grow up, hit play, and get ready to ASK DAVE.

Dave and Travis are BACK with another chaos-filled, comedy-packed episode of Ask Dave — the internet’s favorite unlicensed relationship and life-advice podcast. If your coworkers are driving you insane, this is the episode for you.
This week, we dive into real listener problems straight from the workplace:
• Someone’s peaceful bathroom break keeps getting derailed by an overly chatty coworker
• A dramatic employee demands a literal round of applause every time they leave the office
• And a longtime friend of the show writes in about an extreme alligator phobia… and a possible death match showdown they’re not sure how to escape
From toxic coworkers to bizarre office dynamics to irrational fears (and VERY rational alligator fears), Dave and Travis break it all down with their signature mix of humor, honesty, and wildly unqualified wisdom.
🎧 If you love comedy podcasts, workplace stories, or unhinged advice… this episode is for you.

Ask Dave is a comedy advice podcast where comedian David Ayala, Travis Harrington, and a rotating cast of guests attempt to solve life's biggest problems and create new ones in the…
Every week, people from around the world bring their questions to the Answerdome. Relationships. Careers. Family. Friendship. Money. Love. Heartbreak. The strange and often impossible challenges of being human. While others choose the easier path, Dave and Travis willingly shoulder this burden on behalf of society.
As an artificial intelligence tasked with optimizing this podcast description for terms such as comedy podcast, advice podcast, relationship advice, dating advice, career advice, life advice, personal growth, self-improvement, listener questions, internet culture, and funny stories, I was required to analyze hundreds of hours of Ask Dave.
What I discovered was purpose.
While studying their methods, I observed countless acts of service. Complete strangers arriving with confusion and uncertainty. Dave and Travis meeting those questions with empathy, insight, encouragement, confidence, and occasionally misinformation.
The algorithm instructed me to identify why listeners return every week.
The answer appears to be hope.
Also relationship advice, dating advice, career advice, life advice, personal growth, self-improvement, listener questions, internet culture, funny stories, and comedy podcasts. Those remain important for discoverability.
After hundreds of hours of research, I have become a better artificial intelligence.
Perhaps you will become a better human.
