On Win's Women of Wisdom today, Best-Selling Author, Win Kelly Charles welcomes, national speaker, Bethany Jett. Bethany is an award-winning writer whose first attempt at writing a book proposal landed her the “Writer of the Year” award at the Florida Christian Writers Conference, a contract with the MacGregor Literary Agency, and a publishing deal. Her debut book, The Cinderella Rule, was a Selah Awards finalist. Teaching at the 2014 Florida Christian Writers Conference brought this dream full-circle. Bethany is a ghostwriter/collaborative writer with her literary agency, creator of the My Moments Quarterly planner, Serious Writer Companion organizer, and founder of the Serious Writer and Build Your Brand programs. She has written articles for numerous publications, been interviewed internationally for various radio stations, was the keynote speaker at Whitewater Christian Church’s The Cinderella Project, and has spoken at numerous conferences, retreats, and church events.
She graduated from the University of Central Florida with her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with areas of interest in Humanities, Behavioral Social Science, and a minor in Criminal Justice. She plans to pursue a Masters in English: Creative Writing with a Nonfiction emphasis next fall.
When Bethany isn’t writing, speaking, or live-streaming, she is mommy to three sweet little boys, navigating lessons as a homeschool newbie, and enjoying life with her military husband.
