Lake Forest is part of a larger group of churches called the EPC, or Evangelical Presbyterian Church. We don’t talk about it a TON from the stage but it is a major part of how our church was formed and how it continues to grow. Check out this weeks episode of the podcast to find out exactly what our denomination IS and what it DOES.

One of the strengths of our church is our group of Godly and committed elders who help to lead, pray, discern, and advise. This week on the podcast, we get a chance to sit down with LFC elder Chad Lacy to hear his perspective about what it means to be an elder. Lots of good stuff here!

We know you’re gonna end up on a beach or by a mountain or by the side of a pool at some point this summer, so Harrison and Pastor Mike wanted to share some random things they’re been reading. Maybe you’ll find something right up your alley.

Here at Lake Forest Church, we are big believers in hearing from different voices, especially when it comes to sermons. On this episode of the Ask LFC podcast, we hear from Pastor Mike and Harrison about why it’s so important for us to hear from many gifted preachers of God’s word.

We have an awesome group of elders here at LFC Huntersville that shepherd, guide, and lead so many things around here. A few weeks ago, Pastor Mike reached out to the elders for some input on the “I Am the Good Shepherd” sermon, and this week on the podcast we get a chance to hear from our elders in their own words.

This week, Pastor Mike is back and he has some cool stories to share. He was invited to Washington D.C. with a group of pastors to discuss racial understanding and racial reconciliation. Don’t miss this one!

As Christ-followers, we believe in the promises that God has made to us in His word. How do we balance that eternal hope with our everyday circumstances, and how can we have hope in our present AND our future?

Wow! We are still recovering/celebrating our Easter weekend across the Lake Forest family of churches. This week, Mike and Harrison go behind the scenes, all about Easter weekend.

It can be hard to know how to lead our kids well spiritually. What if they have questions we can’t answer? How can we show them Jesus in ways that feel real? Jump in with Mike and Harrison this week as Pastor Mike explains the Woofie’s Left Paw Principle. (That’s a Mike Moses patent, by the way.)
