Make Friends with Worldly Wealth, is the advice from a parable that Yehoshua Messiah told to his disciples. A cursory reading of this passage raises alarm bells because the traditional interpretation appears to support dishonesty and is a contradiction of the instruction for believers about how we should conduct ourselves. According to James 5:12 “(Above all, my brothers, do not swear, not by heaven or earth or by any other oath. Simply let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, so that you will not fall under judgment.” Considering this dilemma, on my part and through the help of the Spirit of the Mighty One, I have just come to a better understanding of the true meaning of this parable which speaks about empowering others, which I am delighted to share with you in this episode.
