Asteroid G Podcasts

We're talking Hellboy in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. With a new movie already in production, we ask ourselves if this demon spawn turned superhero really needs another film right now after that film just tanked in theaters only a couple of years ago.

We're talking the new DCU in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. James Gunm and Peter Safran are in charge of DC's movies and they have a plan. Well, a timeline. An outline. Something that shows the movies and shows they'll make. But is it a good plan? That's debatable... so we debate it.

We're talking Fletch in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. We look at the Chevy Chase film, how big of a dick Chase is. Then we briefly touch on the terrible sequel, and talk about how terrible Chevy Chase is. Finally, we look at Confess, Fletch, blessedly free of Chevy Chase.

We're talking the 300 in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. We go from the 1962 original film that inspired Frank Miller's comic, and then follow Zack Snyder as he does Zack Snyder things on that comic. Oh, and there was an utterly forgettable sequel. Put on your red cloak and grease up pyour abs, it's time to battle!

We're talking the Super Mario Bros. movie in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. We take a look at the trailer, marveling at all the great voice actors they got for the film... while lamenting the inclusion of Chris Pratt. So close, but so far away.

We're talking Thor in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. Love and Thunder recently came out and was met with mixed opinions from critics. We are not among them as the crew here loved the fourth Thor movie. Find out why...

We're talking Star Wars in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. We start by noting that Andor is really good, but then we turn to s discussion of the movies and show, touching upon what worked (Obi-Wan), what didn't (The Book of Boba Fett) and how Disney really needs to figure out their strategy moving forward.

We're talking side stories in this episode of (Not So) Live from Asteroid G. We start with a discussion of why the two garage bros from Ferris Bueller are getting their own spin-off. Then we look at what other side stories would be more interesting. Back to the Future but from the perspective of the Libians? Gozilla but he doesn't destroy Tokyo? The Thing vs. Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China? All this and more in this week's episode.
