Asteroid G Podcasts

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G goes back to the "Watch Party" with a look at the first failed attempt to bring Clarks to the small screen. We took the time to watch the twenty minute pilot episode of a show that calls itself "Clerks" but isn't really, just so you don't have to. This is a public services we provide here on the site.

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G is taking a shot at rebooting the Predator franchise. We start out with movie ideas before dissecting what it takes to actually make a good movie in this series. The we get wild and start puttin the Predator into every ridiculous situation we can. It's great!

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G takes on a divisive work with a Love it or Hate It episode all about the live action Aladdin. We compare this film to the original animated edition, look at what Will Smith got right (and what was better with Robin Williams), and then try to decide if this film is necessary or a total misfire.

Join Queen B, Josh, Bex, and I as we screw up over and over trying to record a podcast. The final products may sound good, but man, do we burn through a lot of flubs and stutters in the process.

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G goes back to the "Watch Party" with a look at Kevin Smith's failed animated series, Clarks. We discuss the highs and lows of this show's six episodes, only two of which originally aired, while discussing the joys of Leonardo Leonardo and determining which one of us really is a Sexy Pharaoh Wizard.

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G is talking "Nerd News". We try very hard not to talk politics... and they talk a bunch of politics. But then, updates on the DCEU, the MCU, and Invincible over on Amazon Prime

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G goes back to the "Watch Party" with a look at the zero turned hero: Disney's Hercules. We find the heroic oaf within us, get serenaded by the Greek Chorus, and lament how awful Danny DeVito's singing voice truly is. Plus we can't help but discuss other Hercules films as well.

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G is taking a shot at rebooting Zack Snyder's Justice League. We figure if Zack Snyder can be given $70 Mil to refilm and edit this 2017 joke into a four-hour opus, why can't Hollywood do the same for us, so we each give our best interpretation of that mangled film (or, at the very least, our weirdest ideas).

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G is talking "Nerd News" and, yes, we have to touch upon Zack Snyder's magnum opus. Along the way we also hit up Disney+ and its spate of Marvel shows, the Coronavirus, the messed up things happening in the world and, for some reason, porn games. All this and more in this week's news.

This week (Not So) Live from Asteroid G takes on a divisive work with a Love it or Hate It episode all about Wonder Woman '84. Although each of us likes the original DCEU Wonder Woman film well enough (at least the first two-thirds of it), we're left feeling mixed about this 80s-set sequel. SO we spend some time going over the good, and the bad, of the film to try and figure out what we liked and what went horribly wrong.
