At Home With Mark

On this episode I am hanging with my old friend Pat Wescott. Pat was in a band called Park Police and they released a record in 2005 called "Ranchero" that I think is probably one of my favorite indie rock records of all time. We're gonna chat about the process of making that album and listen to a few clips of the songs so you can see why I wish they'd more music together.

On this episode we're kicking it with Dan from DGN Guitars! He builds amazing instruments and one of the best sounding amps I've heard in a long while. I found out about Dan's work via my pal Jake Brownstein from Eggy (Jake plays his 427 amp which is based on a Fender Twin in one channel and a Trainwreck in channel two). I cannot wait to hear Dan's story and how he came into building all of these amazing tools to help us make the joyful noise.

Here we are at the final episode of Season 7… that flew by! I couldn’t think of a more fitting way to end 2023 than hanging with one of my favorite humans, Josh Scott ,talking about one of our (mutually shared) favorite bands… Dawes. This is going to be so fun y’all! Every time Josh does these shows with me he always has the most insightful thoughts about the music/records we discuss; so I am sure this is gonna be a treat for any Dawes fan!
