Dr. Katie Miller, with Custom Physical Therapy and Fitness in McAdenville, joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Katie grew up in her father’s physical therapy practice, arriving at 4:30am to greet 5am patients or even spending the night at the office.  When not shadowing her dad, she would perform ultrasounds on her brother!  Fast forward to grad school where her dad was one of her professors.  According to Katie, everything she knows she learned from her father. 

Katie started her own practice in July 2021 alongside her business partner, Julian.  With Julian on her team, Katie is able to focus solely on her patients and eliminating their pain which is her true passion.  Just like her dad, Katie now brings her own children along to the office.  And when her dad is in town, he hops in and works for her.  How’s that for full circle?

 In honor of Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11th, we’re resharing our conversation with Dave Wood, volunteer pilot for Veterans Airlift Command.  VAC provides free air transportation to combat wounded veterans and their families for medical and other compassionate purposes through a national network of volunteer aircraft owners and pilots.  Over the last 15 years, volunteer pilots have completed over 16,000 missions.  Dave has completed 87 of these missions, with a personal goal to complete 100.  Each mission is special and unique.  Tune in to hear many memorable stories about the heroes Dave has had the privilege to serve, and how these heroes have impacted his life and faith.
