Atascocita Library Advanced Copy

Find out some great new reads as PJ and Bonnie discuss what they've been reading lately -- and whether you should, too.  This month, Bonnie and PJ talk about a book they read in their youth, The Witch of Blackbird Pond.

Atascocita Branch Library's Lit Chat was originally Lunch 'n' Lit, the monthly book club for adults.  There are still months when the group selects a book to read together, but now months where you share what you've been reading lately.  Let us know if you've read one of the titles talked about here or something you think we all should read!

Book to movie debate: was the movie as good -- or better -- than the book?  Darla, Kimberly, and Beth talk about six book to movie adaptations; some that honored the book and some that missed the mark.  Also Book Clues, with answers from last week and new clues this week!  Upcoming programs, too!

It is Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month, and we have programs to help you explore or reconnect with Asian American and Pacific Islander culture.  Asian/Pacific encompasses all of the Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia.   We don't cover it all, but we will explore online resources and some great reads by Asian American authors.
