In this Mets post game news conference, starter Max Scherzer "felt good", in the team's 1-0 loss to the Rockies. Scherzer was victimized by some bad luck, courtesy of two infield hits before a sac fly plated Colorado's only run. "There's so many little ways you can beat, that are out of your control." He threw a season-high 112 pitches but said his arm "felt really good" and after an extra day of rest, was a good time to push the envelope on his pitch count because it improves the "resiliency" in his arm.
