Restarting The Fire! The Preseason is here! Atlanta United FC are close to finalizing the 2024 Roster. Dave, Mike and Carmen celebrate season 5 of the podcast, talk about the new signings and where we might finish the season.

After a great interview with Brannon Boegner in part 1 at Wolf Mountain Vineyard and Winery, Dave and Mike discuss MLS Cup Playoffs leading up to the Cup Final on December 9th. Dave had picked the Columbus Crew to win it all over a month ago. Mike predicted LAFC would hold the cup. The Crew has home field advantage, but it should be an entertaining game. Will Thiago Almada be with Atlanta United in 2024. The future seems as unclear as ever for fans of Atlanta United FC.

It was sadley very predictable. We went into game three on the road vs Columbus and dropped 3 goals before we knew what hit us. Gonzalo Pineda did not make the right adjustments to prevent goals, nor has he all season. Our excitment about a 4-2 win at home was short lived.  2024 will surley see wide sweeping roster exits which makes stability difficult. You want to be optimistic, but it's not adding between bad coaching and new players TBD.

Atlanta United traveled to Columbus and lost 2-0. It was going to be hard without Almada, but the team really showed no signs of life or a plan to compete.  We return for match 2 tomorrow night at home. Almada will be back and our approach must be different. It could be the last game of the season. We talk some EPL, La Liga, and all the big Euro action.

Atlanta United FC finished the regular season 6th in the Eastern Conference, hanging onto a draw (2-2) vs FC Cincinnati. Was going for a win worth the risk? Thiago Almada will miss the first game vs Columbus Crew in the three game playoff system.  What is next for Atlanta United FC if we don't progress in  the first round? Why should Gonzalo Pineda keep his position limping into the playoffs with one of the league's best and highest paid rosters? We talk about it all.

Two game recap as Atlanta United don't showcase as a contender vs the MLS top teams.  After falling 3 zip in the first half, the fight to get 2 back was too late. And, the formula holds strong as Columbus visits the Benz where Atlanta can only get a tie against the hottest team in the league. MLS Cup predictions. 

Three game recap as Atlanta United grabs 2 wins at home but proves they still look weak on the road, as we got lucky to get a draw vs DC United.  We'll talk about it all, grading Pineda (still not good), players, and what's up with Messi?

Atlanta United FC play the MLS leaders FC Cincinnati and can't hold onto the lead. The team was running out of steam, but did Pineda react in time?  We get a draw vs Dallas on the road. The team still lingers in 6th place. We'll talk about it all, including more Messi magic.
