We have arrived at week three of the Discover Georgia podcast, and we now head to the oldest city in the state of Georgia. Often referred to as the hostess city of the south. We’re talking about Savannah. So, without further ado – let’s Discover Georgia.

We kicked things off last week in Augusta, and wow, did we learn a lot. Folks, Augusta is way more than just the host city of a golf tournament. But that’s the point of this podcast, right? So, we’re on to week two, and we’re gonna hop in the car and travel about 160 miles northwest from Augusta. That puts us right in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains. We have arrived in Dahlonega.

With 537 cities to choose from, how do you pick who goes first? Well, in this case, I sent out a bunch of emails to prospective cities. I got outstanding response, but we’re going to start with the city that got back to me first. And that distinction goes to the home of the most prestigious golf tournament in the world. That’s right, we’re talking about Augusta, Georgia, the host of the Masters.
