Adam and Ralph had a lot to talk about on today’s segment. Eight games are coming up Thursday and Friday to decide the Elite 8 and then only four teams will be left standing for next weekend’s action. Adam and Ralph hit as many games as they could during their time together and discussed betting tips, angles, and trends that could be helpful for you as you look to hedge your futures or cash those individual betting tickets.

On the Monday March 25 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com for this week’s first of two Handicapping the Hardwood segments. The guys tackled the Thursday Sweet 16 games and protected out some Elite 8 games. They also touched briefly on the Friday games as well.

Adam and Kyle discussed some general Sweet 16 betting angles and tips and also looked at the venues in play for all four regions. They discussed Florida State vs. Gonzaga, Purdue vs. Tennessee, Texas Tech vs. Michigan, and Oregon vs. Virginia from both a side and total standpoint. They also took an overview of Friday’s Sweet 16 action.

The guys took a look at all eight Sweet 16 games and projected out some lines and thoughts for the Elite 8 round of the NCAA Tournament.

On the Monday March 25 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke had just a handful of questions for this shortened edition of the Monday Mailbag. Listeners had questions about NCAA Tournament futures and determining what size a bet should be to kick off this week on the show.

Purdue futures are popular and are in a really good position with a coin flip game against Tennessee this week. With the MLB season starting up this week and Adam’s MLB picks and tips piece, listeners wanted to know about the deciding factors between a 1%, 2%, and 3% play.

On the Friday March 22 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke took some time to talk about the five teams in the National League West Division to give some betting tips, picks, and predictions on those five teams. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies look like the top teams, but the San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, and Arizona Diamondbacks have some intrigue as well.

Adam talked about all five teams and gave some insights into the offenses and also the pitching staffs. He talked about specific pitchers to watch for each team and discussed a lot of potential line moves in the NL West based on the starters that will be on the mound for those respective teams.

On the Thursday March 21 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke took some time to talk about the five teams in the National League Central Division to give some betting tips, picks, and predictions on those five teams. The Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals make up the best division in baseball this season.

Adam talked about the Cubs and that ugly PECOTA projection once again. He talked about the Reds’ additions over the winter and how they have created quite a buzz. He talked about the staying power of the Brewers based on what they’ve done within the organization. He talked about his favorite NL season win total bet with the Pirates. Finally, the Cardinals are a team with a high floor, but what does Adam believe the ceiling to be?

On the Thursday March 21 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Christian Pina of the Sports Gambling Podcast and our UFC writer at BangTheBook.com for a look at UFC Fight Night 148. This UFC on ESPN+ 6 event in Nashville features a main event of Anthony Pettis vs. Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and we got Christian’s thoughts on that fight and the rest of the fights on the card.

This is an interesting card from an underdog perspective, as Christian outlined with us as the guys discussed the fights on the main card and the preliminary card. Do we have any upset potential in the main fight? Is the Curtis Blaydes vs. Justin Willis fight important down the road? The guys gave strategies and betting tips for this fight card that you won’t hear anywhere else.

On the Wednesday March 20 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by professional handicapper Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com and also BangTheBook.com for the second Handicapping the Hardwood segment this week. The guys took a look at futures, props, recapped some NIT, CBI, CIT, and then looked at the West Region and the South Region for the NCAA Tournament.

After a look at what happened last night in the other tournaments, Adam and Kyle cycled back through the tournament field to find some good futures opportunities and Sweet 16 props to start off the segment. They also talked about the West Region and South Region and projected forward some second round lines based on the expected matchups.

On the Wednesday March 20 edition of BangTheBook Radio, host Adam Burke was joined by Wes Reynolds, @WesReynolds1 on Twitter, for this week’s Wednesday Wagering segment. The guys took a look at the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook to get Wes’s picks and predictions and also gave out some college basketball betting tips on the NCAA Tournament, NIT, CBI, and CIT.

Innisbrook is a tough course with The Snake Pit and we have an interesting field on hand of elite players that haven’t played this course much and a bunch of guys that are in the second and third tier as far as the PGA Tour goes. After breaking down that event, the focus shifted to college basketball, as Adam and Wes discussed the NCAA Tournament and some matchups he likes, as well as the NIT, CBI, and CIT, where money can certainly be made.
