It's time for a Hump Day edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke will have the floor for a while today with only one guest able to make it on to the broadcast, but he has plenty of things to discuss. We'll open up the BangTheBook Mailbag for some listener questions to kick off today's show. We've got several talking points from our listeners, including personal routines for deciding what games to bet on, the terminology of betting, and also whether or not it's a good idea to buy points. These are all things that bettors need to keep in mind, so it's a great time to talk about them.
Wes Reynolds joins us for our Wednesday Wagering with Wes Reynolds segment. The guys will chat about derivative betting in college basketball and the NBA and ways that it can be really profitable when applied correctly. Betting first halves and second halves as opposed to full games or taking a full game position and limiting a little bit of risk with some half wagering is a bankroll management skill and we'll chat with Wes about that on today's show. We'll also break down the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, which features an enormous field of 156 pros and 156 amateurs, including some well-known celebrities.

The "Tuesday Meeting" returns this week on BangTheBook Radio with a lot of college basketball discussion. We'll start things off with Bryan Leonard of WagerTalk.com, as he joins host Adam Burke to recap how Super Bowl LI went for him. The guys will also discuss bankroll management techniques and ways to stay organized and ahead of the game. Managing a bankroll is one of the most important things in this industry and it's also one of the hardest concepts for handicappers to grasp. We'll do our best to grasp it with Bryan during this segment. We'll also talk college hoops and take an in-depth look at the MAC.
During our Hunting for Winners segment with Sports Cheetah, we also talked about bankroll management techniques. This was recorded on Monday night, so it can be a nice way to get some good talking points for the segment with Bryan as well. Old school meets new school on this Tuesday Meeting show, but one of the best things about Bryan is that he has adjusted. Some handicappers get left out in the cold because they don't adjust. Anyway, with Cheetah, we also talked about college basketball and finding value in smaller conferences, where market entry is a really big deal.

Our final show of the week to get you ready for the Big Game will be on Friday of Super Bowl week. We'll start things out with this week's version of The Odds Report with Brent, a bookmaker from DSI Sportsbook. We'll get some insight from Brent on how things are going on the other side of the counter as he shares with us what the sharp bets are for the side and total on Super Bowl LI. We'll also get some betting figures and some sharp action for the prop betting market as well. There are so many prop bets available out there and a lot of sharp players prefer these over the game line.
Rob Pizzola of Prediction Machine joins us once again this week for a comprehensive breakdown of Super Bowl LI. The simulator has come up with a side and a final score prediction based on 50,000 simulations, so Rob will tell us what those results are and if that yields any betting value one way or another in the game. A props package is also available with Prediction Machine, but we'll get Rob to talk a little bit about some of the props that the machine likes and also about some of his personal opinions for the New England Patriots vs. the Atlanta Falcons game.
