A great Tuesday show comes your way on BangTheBook Radio with host Adam Burke this week. We'll welcome back last week's first-time guest Brian Blessing from Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline to chat some NFL for Week 16. They'll also hit on handicapping NFL motivation and three games this week, with the Falcons vs. Saints, Rams vs. Titans, and Bills vs. Patriots.
Philip Rossman-Reich from Orlando Magic Daily joins us to chat some NBA in the second part of today's show. They'll talk about this week in the NBA, with the league-wide off day on Saturday and Sunday's marquee set of games for the Christmas holiday. They'll talk about which teams are best equipped to handle the scheduling spots around the day off with lots of scheduling spots. The NBA is a star-driven league, but outside of those stars, some guys have a huge impact. Philip will discuss some of those guys that really have a big input in how things happen and they'll also look at several games over the next two days.

Two segments were all that we were missing from a terrific week of BangTheBook Radio and we brought those to you on this Friday December 15 edition of the show. Host Adam Burke is looking to finish strong with the 2017 Westgate SuperContest and he has gone 8-2 over the last two weeks, so he enlisted the help of Joe Everett from NFL Draft Bible once again. Adam and Joe talked about the card overall and some of the interesting NFL betting storylines as we head into Week 15. Adam had three picks extremely likely to make the card, a fourth that was more of a pick than a lean, and also hit on a couple of leans with his NFL betting picks for the SuperContest.
Brent from DSI Sportsbook also joined us for this week's version of The Odds Report. We're not seeing a ton of sharp money just yet in college football, which led to an interesting discussion between the guys. They talked about when to expect that kind of investment from sharps and did hit on the bowl games that have seen notable money. The NFL has been a bit busier. Adam and Brent hit on the games with sharp action and also hit the Patriots vs. Steelers game, which has a lot of bets, but not much sharp involvement.

Adam and Brad will also hit the two huge NFL games this weekend with Rams vs. Seahawks and Patriots vs. Steelers.
Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com also joins us. We'll talk some NFL with him, as we focus on the Cardinals vs. Redskins and Cowboys vs. Raiders. The majority of the segment will be dedicated to talking college hoops. It has been a light schedule lately with the exam breaks for the majority of the teams. Most get back on track this weekend. Ralph will share some betting angles in those spots, including thoughts on the best and worst ATS teams so far and some top picks for this weekend.

We've got three new voices coming your way on BangTheBook Radio for this Tuesday edition of the show. Host Adam Burke will start things out by talking hockey with Brian Blessing, who is the host of Sportsbook Radio and Vegas Hockey Hotline out in Sin City. We'll chat with him about the Vegas Golden Knights and what expansion to Las Vegas has done in terms of the hockey betting market. He'll also shed some light on some of his NHL betting tips.
Next up, we'll chat with Dave Mason of BetOnline Sportsbook. The first round of bowl games are coming up on Saturday, so we'll get a betting odds report from BetOnline and see where the public and where the sharp guys are coming in for the New Orleans Bowl, Las Vegas Bowl, New Mexico Bowl, and Camellia Bowl. He'll also shed some light on the NFL betting action for Broncos vs. Colts, Chargers vs. Chiefs, and Rams vs. Seahawks.
We'll wrap things up with Ed Feng of The Power Rank with some interesting thoughts on college football bowl pools. Those bowl contests are always interesting and many require confidence points for your college football picks. Ed has a strategy that he wants to share with us that taps into his analytics background and that should make for some good radio.

  • BangTheBook Sports Betting Talk Radio Podcast December 8
We've had a great week on BangTheBook Radio with some excellent shows and some brilliant analysis from our guests. We wrapped it up with two segments that you know and love. The Westgate SuperContest Selections segment allows us to get a look at host Adam Burke's thought process for the upcoming NFL weekend. We had Joe Everett of NFL Draft Bible back on the show to bounce thoughts and ideas off of during this segment as Adam talked about three picks that he really likes for this weekend and a couple of leans. This is a good overview of the NFL betting card and the SuperContest is always fun to discuss.
Brent from DSI Sportsbook joined us as our final guest of the week for this week's version of The Odds Report. The Army/Navy game has sharp money involvement, but the focus of the college football part was mostly to look at bowl season and talk about how that process goes from managing risk to raising limits to everything in between. Some games have seen sharp betting already, so Brent touched on those games with us. The NFL Week 14 sharp money has also hit, so Adam and Brent discussed those sides and totals and talked about where bettors can expect those lines to move as we approach kickoff.

Our Thursday Meeting show is back for another go-round this week with two professional handicappers and host Adam Burke on BangTheBook Radio. We'll start it off with Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com. The guys will chat about Adam's thoughts from the introduction of this week's Power Ratings article, in which Adam made some bold statements that may be viewed as controversial in the handicapping community. The guys also discussed bowl season approaches, when to look for movements in the marketplace, and some of the more intriguing matchups that look like exciting games. The guys also hit on a couple NFL games with the Vikings vs. Panthers and Cowboys vs. Giants.
Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com is today's other guest. We'll get his college football bowl season thoughts on a lot of those same concepts that we discussed with Brad. Everybody has a different approach to the bowl season, so we'll hear Ralph's and see how it aligns with those that we've heard from other guests this week. We'll then go in a different direction with Ralph and talk college basketball. We've seen some big wins from teams lately and also some big upsets. How does Ralph process games like that? Do they mean anything going forward? He also had a couple of best bet top plays for us for this weekend.
