In order to impact others, we must first impact our own lives. Pastor Tyus uses the life of Jesus as an example of how a period of "darkness" precedes light and impact. As you go through what you go through, be able to praise, pray and be patient.

7:45 - Luke 2:47. Jesus stayed behind so he can learn the word. If Jesus sat down to learn the word, we must follow the example and do the same to elevate to new heights.

24:47 - Jesus was obedient in the dark for 18 years before coming to light. Can you remain obedient to God's word without knowing when he'll bless you? Can you stand to be patient and pruned by God?
