This week's episode of Attrition Wars is titled Suspicion Wars. We would love nothing more than to talk the kicks and punches. But there other situations happening that make it hard to do that. Suspicion Wars vol. 1 is the first of an ongoing series. This series will continue until the the nonsense comes to a halt in the sport of MMA. Somebody needs to point it out. Might as well be me. 

            New dawn, new day, new year. Resetting 2020 where we left off before the new year. Not too much has changed. A couple big announcements of upcoming fights. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the return of Conor. I'm still going with Cowboy, even though a few things don't seem right.  Had to point out the fact that this fight works out perfect under the UFC's Mixed Martial Boxing theme. The outcome of this fight has serious implications on both mens future. win or lose. Looking beyond 246 to UFC Columbus. There have been some updates to that card since we last saw each other. I will touch on UFC Columbus in the next episode of Attrition Wars. 

Starting 2020 off with an Attrition Wars exclusive. Darthmalice wrestling interviews 2x Ohio D1 State Champ Rachel Elizondo. Rachel is the returning state champ, and is currently ranked number 1. https://www.trackwrestling.com/membership/ViewProfile.jsp?twId=441502096 Rachel shared her thoughts about the growth of women's combat sports, and some of the adversity that women face while competing in a male dominated sport. She also talked about career path, looking forward to college experience and how the military is one of the options she's weighing. The future is definitely bright. Rachel has a love for the game a soccer, and has not ruled that out as an option in college. Moving forward, she has a tall order to fill in D1 Ohio wrestling. Rachel also talked about her family being her biggest supporters, and how she's willfully carrying the Fairfield legacy on her back as she's on pace to win her third state title in as many years. It was barnburner season this past weekend at UFC 245. There were some head scratching moments. Some questionable scoring by the judges of this card. Jose Aldo loses a close decision to Moraes. Could've went either way. But Jose made the case that he belongs at 135 and that he's all in as a serious contender for the 135 strap. Blessed Max, loses a close decision. He didn't appear to have suffered much damage in the fight. But according to the "judges" Alex the Great did enough to uncrown the champ. Amanda Nunes is victorious. Uriah Faber confirmed all doubt that the sport has passed him by. Faber got completely gas pedaled in this match. He suffered a lot of damage, and hopefully he's already applied for his AARP card because homie is done. The highly anticipated main event did not disappoint. Unless you were pulling for Colby. Even still, it was a smoker. Colby was in it until the third round when he suffered a hard straight right blast from Usman that broke the challengers jaw. It was just a matter of time at the point. BlockSTAR and D-Mo discuss comparisons of the judges scorecard compared the Global Scorecard which is Verdict.mma. The efficiency and effectiveness of the Global Scorecard shined through and turned a lot of heads this weekend. A problem that fight fans have been searching for an answer to is here.
