It's our first episode as a married couple! We discuss how the socially-distanced wedding went in Quarantine Corner before "Mindy Tries it: M&M's Edition." Questioning Florida then features a woman who went a little too far when getting back at an ex. Josh then gives the disturbing tell of Ana Ivanovna, a scorned lover who built a death trap to torture people who dared to fall in love. Mindy then jumps into how the Japanese internment camps came about.
Wild card month continues since we couldn't come up with a topic! We begin the episode with a Florida conspiracist that quotes a Disney movie to get out of wearing a mask before Mindy jumps into favorite foods of U.S. presidents (spoiler alert: lots of pudding involved). Josh then turns to the world of Reddit for some funny personal experiences.
We're going off book all month with some wild card episodes, featuring stories not tied to any specific topic! Before jumping into those, we talk about the election, our upcoming wedding, and a Florida man who basically paid to be mauled. Mindy then tells the story of a surgeon who was known as a pioneer in his field (despite killing some people). Josh then gets into a recent story you have to hear to believe.
In a special Halloween episode, Andrew and Michelle join the show! After a quick rant at the top, Josh introduces a new segment called Mindy Tries It! The gang then tries to make sense of a Florida woman who liked to hang around gas stations and talk about her butt in Questioning Florida. Mindy then dives into the origin of vampires, including Vlad the Impaler. Josh then continues his Halloween episode tradition of turning to the internet to find hilarious stories from haunted house workers. Happy Halloween!
This week, we welcome Josh's niece, Hannah, and his nephew, Marc, to the show! Hannah talks about earning her Doctorate in Psychology before we jump into an extra-stupid edition of Questioning Florida. Josh then discusses some psychology experiments that went horribly wrong, some of which involved the worst possible consequences. Mindy then goes way back to 12 AD to talk about the life of the Roman emperor, Caligula. We wrap up by discussing French King Charles The Mad, whose name speaks for itself.
Morbid Month continues when we discuss the most messed up story we've ever covered! Before that, Josh discusses a Florida man that became violent over the dumbest of reasons. Then, Mindy does a deep dive into one of the evilest women that has ever lived, Elizabeth Bathory. Josh then shares some evil deeds out of Leicestershire and asks Mindy to rate how horrible they are. Listen at your own risk!
We conclude our revenge episode by taking a look at an epic tale of 7th-grade revenge on a horrible teacher, and Mindy weighs in on how she'd handle the situation.
We're finally back to talk all about science! We catch you up on what we've been up to before jumping into an ironic accident involving a road sign in Questioning Florida. Mindy then talks about Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe and his tale of losing his nose, owning a pet moose, and dying in a controversial way. Josh then educates Mindy on some of the funniest sounding scientific names in history. Enjoy!
