Auburn basketball faced off against a hot Florida in a revenge game from weeks prior where Florida dismantled Auburn on the court. The Stakes were higher for this game and Auburn showed out and put it all on the court when it counted most. Auburn took a lead from the start and kept it giving Auburn their first Tournament win since 2019.

Auburn faced off in the SEC tournament semi finals against a hot Mississippi State team. They went back-and-forth for the whole game at Auburn found a way to separate themselves and win their first game of the season. Auburn will face off against the Florida team for the finals of the tournament.

Auburn wins game 1 in the SEC Tournament vs South Carolina. A mismatch from the start for the Gamecocks and Auburn took the the game and ran winning by 31 points to advance to the semi finals vs Mississippi State

Wrapping up a 24-7 regular season, with all wins by double digits, that leads to the question of where does this team stack against the best teams of Pearl's past at Auburn? Looking back at the top years of the past there is a debate to be had for sure where this team falls in the pecking order.

Jaylin Williams injury vs Kentucky is NOT going to require surgery and as of now is not going to be season ending. The question remains, how long will he be out during his recovery? National signing day, the REAL signing day came and went, and we all pretty much forget it even happened. The recent shift of signing day to EARLY signing day has been a major shift in college football and every year NSD has become less and less important for the roster development. Auburn adds zero players to it but no one from Auburn is sweating about it.

After a rough showing the week prior, Auburn basketball had more questions than answer. All eyes were turned on this past week to see how they would respond, not only at home, but on the road at Ole Miss. Not only did Auburn respond strong, they land their best win of the season and first Q1 win as well. Auburn played on of their best halves of basketball all year and it got them a much needed season momentum win.
