  • Gleanings by Neal Shusterman & David Yoon - 7. The Mortal Canvas
    Story set not long after the inmortal world from Scythe we knew. It revolves aroud art and how it lost most of its sense as was exposed during the main series. It talks about other philosophical matters such as Fear of death and it's relation with art or Seek for knowledge when you habe "infinite" time. Nice chapter overall. Really enjoyed recording it, despite having had to pause and record in different days. I'd say the topic is the most interesting so far but the story talking about it wasn't as enjoyable as some previous chapters, for me.

  • Misery por Stephen King - 1a Parte: 30-36

    Fin de la 1a Parte, de ahí los 45 minutos. Este es el último episodio, de Misery, que grabé antes de irme de vacaciones (11/04) y programé 23/04si tenéis curiosidad. El próximo ya estoy de vuelta y puede que me cueste algo rehacerme a grabar pero bueno. Pilas cargadas. Y a ello!

  • Gleanings by Neal Shusterman - 6. A Martian Minute
    1st chapter I record after my holidays so it probably seems different. Not so good that it was a 70 pages one also HAHAH took me some hours to finish it but don't worry, this is the longest one in the book. Also you'll know right away if you remember about the previous books and it's nice seeing Carson's evolution, just not as interesting as I thought it would be. Maybe it was just too long of a chapter.

  • Gleanings by Neal Shusterman - 5. Unsavory Row
    In this chapter Shusterman brings us to the unsavory world with more detail and introduces new things from it. Reaching a final which, like it does with everything i read from him so far, seems pretty well closed up and ‘’ending a cycle’’Last chapter I pre-recorded before leaving (29th April 2023). Will take a bit to get used again when I’m back I bet. I won’t stop reading out loud though and minimise getting rusty that way.

  • Gleanings by Neal Shusterman - 4. A Death of Many Colours
    Another kinda nice chapter. Nothing to do with the other and I didn’t like it as much either but it’s what will happen with this book, that each one of us will love more some than others and that’s what makes stories books great. Talking about opinions and different mindsets, I make a little reflexion in the end again which ‘’saves’’ the chapter a bit, for me. Not putting it here so you don’t get spoilers here.Tell me your thoughts

  • Gleanings by Neal Shusterman & Michael H. Payne - 3. Never Work with Animals

    As i say in the end. This was a really different chapter from the usual and looked like a ‘’horror comedy’’ which, to my surprise was quite funny. Couldn’t avoid laughing at some points. And even made me want to talk a bit in the end which is even more surprise HAHHA.

    It has only new characters, except for one whose voice I could lie and tell you that i made it on purpose so you didn’t recognise him right away but yeah, I didn’t know either and just changed it when i saw. Had to cut sometimes like i said because of my tone changes. Just saying also that i was over 2h recording and that, so maybe the quality varies during its duration, i don't know, don’t use to check but hope you enjoy it either way.

    Now you understand why I left the first episode as a 3 min one. Half of the chapters have almost the same length than this one, which i will have no complaints for if they are this nice. Just takes a bit more time to record though. But when I’m back from holidays I will have more time and that. The longest one is 70 pages so it will get over 2h i bet. But, keep it a secret for now, it’s Carson Lusk story and it will most certainly be nice.

  • Misery por Stephen King - 1a Parte: 7-12

    En este libro, por algún motivo, no siempre usan indicatorios para decir que un personaje está hablando o pensando así que puede llegr a ser confuso. Lo digo porque a veces usaré voz de narrador y otras las voces de los personajes indistintamente. En el próximo episodio veremos cómo reacciona Annie ante la ''muerte'de Misery arrancando así los engranajes del libro.
