Audiode 27 was collected in June 2019 while doing a bicycle tour from San Francisco to Los Angeles down Highway 1 (309.9 miles + 12,729 feet climbed + 6 shows). It features conversations with the Andrews family (Nels, Julia, and Otis) in Santa Cruz. Nels Andrews (https://www.nelsandrews.com) is releasing a beautiful new album on August 9th called “Pigeon & the Crow.”

Audiode 26 was collected in Toledo, OH and elsewhere on the road in the midwest in March 2019 (and finished in San Francisco, CA in April and May). It features a conversation with Dylan Wise, who has released many recordings (https://hellodylanwise.bandcamp.com) and has a podcast about making songs: https://www.hellodylanwise.com/podcast. 

Audiode 25 was collected in San Francisco, CA in January 2019. It is largely a conversation with Ned Buskirk. Ned is the founder of the You’re Going to Die, a 501(c)3 nonprofit bringing diverse communities creatively into the conversation of death and dying, and inspiring life by unabashedly sourcing our shared mortality. He says: "We are ALL going to die. Let’s creatively explore that shared inevitability to deepen and inspire our experience of being alive.”

Audiode 24 was collected in Arcata, CA during November/December 2018. I was participating in an artist residency program at a community arts center called The Sanctuary, writing and recording a new album (forthcoming in 2019…) The Sanctuary’s mission statement says they are “dedicated to creative growth through the arts. We encourage people to teach, inspire and know each other.” It was a very positive experience. This Audiode was created with that spirit in heart and mind.
