As human beings, we move forward on our feet. This means that we walk step by step and thus cover a path. However, we do not walk this path completely - that is, we only ever touch the path where we put our feet, but not in between. If we were to touch the ground the whole way, we would probably have to move like a snake or otherwise creep along the ground. This means that we actually skip a large part of the path, so to speak, i.e. we don't touch it at all. Every step is therefore also an act of trust, because we don't actually know whether the ground will hold. We only know that for each step we have already taken, but not for the next step. Just as we walk our paths in trust, I encourage you for today to be courageous in relationships, to trust others and yourself, perhaps especially where it is difficult at the moment.
