Do you have enough? When you look out over your domain (your dwelling), do you feel you have enough? What do you really need to be content? How much more is there to acquire? Addicts and alcoholics can also get the disease of “more” and move from one thing to another, looking for more. Millionaires and billionaires who have more than enough are still looking for more. Bernard Arnault is currently the richest man in the world as of this writing. He is worth over $220 billion dollars. Ironically, the family owns Hennessy whisky, among many things. He makes $30,769,230.77 a day (just over $30 million a day!). Purdue University did some research and found that the ideal income point for the individual (In North America) is $95,000 for life evaluation and $60,000 to $75,000 for emotional well-being.* Understanding: it takes $60-75k to be okay with your situation and $95k to feel satisfied with your life. Anything above that does not contribute to happiness or overall well-being.
