Prayer is eternal currency. We are not responsible for the fruit, but we are responsible to be obedient to our God through prayer.

We might not all have the gift of hospitality, but we do all have the call to serve and love people. There is a way to get past superficial conversations and get to the heart of others, which is what really matters, and its simplicity might surprise you.

A holy priesthood are men and women who have access to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. As Christians, we are all called to be a royal and holy priesthood, and to use our spiritual gifts to serve and grow the kingdom.

Sometimes the gospel is something you believe, and, other times, it is something that you obey. Your life is not your own, but has been bought with the precious blood of Jesus. It is this gift of eternal life that is to be shared among all the nations.

For God so loved the world that he gave—the message of the gospel could be summed up into those nine words. The only way we can truly understand the message of the gospel is if we realize how incredibly loved we are by God.

The Savior of the world is born. Jesus is our rescuer. Allow God to shepherd you and live securely.

When you become a Christian your life is no longer your own. As Christ-followers, we are called to serve the Most High King by giving our lives away for others.

Living for the Kingdom of God is completely countercultural, because in the Kingdom those who are greatest are servants. In Philippians 2:1-11, Paul explains that even Jesus "did not consider equality with God to use for his advantage." If God himself, in his human form, put others above himself, then the least we can do is to follow his example.

The thing that motivated Jesus in the final hour of his life was love, and it is love that is the best motive to serving. So, what does love through serving look like? In John 13, Jesus shows us what love requires of us.

Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve. People that identify as Christ-followers are to follow his example of putting the needs of others above their own, for in the Kingdom of God the great ones are the ones whose hands are dirty.
