The Driskill Hotel is haunted AF and rich in Austin history. It’s Austin’s oldest operating hotel and it’s home to many a ghost. We're talking Turkish baths, sacred water lines, and lots of other spooky stuff! Join me and Bailee Perkins for an informal historical overview (special thanks to her for reminding me what a dumbwaiter is!)

Ever walked around UT? Nearly every Austinite has. The weird part? When you walk around the university - you are also standing over what some call... a subterranean city. Yes, there are over 7 miles of underground tunnels right underneath longhorn campus! They are just one of the many reasons our city is so freaking weird. Find out more today on Austin's Weird!

Today is Martin Luther King Day, so I decided to do a bonus episode in honor of Dr King. In Austin, we have MLK Blvd, a popular street named to commemorate Dr King's legacy. But not everyone knows how it came to be: Find out how in this episode. Spoiler alert: Dr JJ Seabrook gave his life honoring Dr King and fighting for change - fighting to name all of 19th street... Martin Luther King Blvd. In honor and memory of both of these heroic men, I wanted to do a minisode on how this street name change came to be and the legacy of JJ Seabrook along with other members of Huston-Tillotson University.
