Sara began her career as a  communication specialist, travelling across America and Europe when fate introduced her to the world of health design and she hasn’t looked back. 

Associate Professor Aiden Rowe, is a Professor of Design Studies at University of Alberta. 

Beginning with a bachelor of fine arts, Aiden continued his studies in the world of design thinking and continued to explore the benefits of design research across the globe obtaining multiple degrees to help shape his career.

Michel has worked in the industry for over 35 years and has been with the Australian Health Design Council for over 6 years Michel is a very active and entertaining member of the AHDC which has helped shape it to become a well respected organisation in Australia and around the World 

Dr Jane Carthey has a never ending CV including Health Architect, Health Facility Planner, PhD graduate and founder of Australian Health Design Council. 

Dr Jane continues to work hard as she contemplates retirement and is currently a judge for the UIA Public Health Group Student Design Competition. 

In Jane’s 40 year career Jane has worked Across Australian and around the world including New Zealand, The pacific Region and East Timor  

The AHDC was founded in 2011 by Jane and after several years of been Chair is still in awe about how big the AHDC has become from just a thought over a decade ago.
