The Reality of A Trauma Bond

In my journey I knew the man I was married to wasn't the right person for me, I realized his behavior towards me wasn't right, I tried many times to leave him yet I would always find myself going back, why? Because I was Trauma Bonded without even knowing. A lot of women are suffering in this loop as I once did without even knowing why so I have created this episode for that exact reason.

Are You in Love or Attached?

Many of us including my past self didn't know the difference between the two yet now I have, I have realized I was attached to my marriage and this attachment contributed to the unhealthy marriage I had. Many women struggle with being attached and co-dependent in relationships without understanding why and not knowing that it's this attachment that causes them to be in a trauma bond with their abuser and struggle to break free. 

This wisdom is extremely important it supports you to understand who you are as a partner in relationships, to effectively communicate and to know when things in a relationship are moving from a healthy loving relationship to an unhealthy needy attachment. Trusting Yourself

Many of us women are brought up not even knowing what our gut instinct is, our own inner guidance system to be able to trust it and in turn, trust ourselves and the knowledge we have. Many women who are in toxic or were in toxic marriages/relationships were more than aware at the time that the guy wasn't for them, that the treatment they were going through was toxic as their gut instinct/inner knowing knew that already however they didn't trust it.

In this episode, I am going to dive deep into what is our gut instinct/inner knowing, where it comes from, its power of it and how this inner knowing can really guide us to everything we desire in life & more. This wisdom is powerful and if trust within a relationship is also a struggle for you that is mirroring the lack of trust within yourself, again another aspect that I cover in this episode and how our fatherly role plays a bigger part in this too. Trust is a huge lesson I am integrating this year so I am sharing all the recent lessons I have been learning in experimenting with this and trusting my inner knowing. Believe it or not, it was my own inner knowing which guided me to record this particular episode after having another plan for it so I am excited to see where following my own gut instinct on this one will support you.

My Journey to Finding The World of Self Development

I dive deep into how I hit rock bottom in 2020 where every single element of my life came crashing down, I was alone, 100kgs in weight, unemployed while the whole world went into lockdown. I went into a 6 month cocoon where I focused solely on myself, my pain, my suffering and dedicated every minute of every day to understanding why I got myself to this point. During this time, I cultivated a deeper faith in the unseen, found the world of meditation which took me down the biggest rabbit hole I have ever been down, the rabbit hole of discovering the world that lies within. 

We are so much deeper than our physical body, I found that there are 3 parts to any person - the mind, the body and the soul. During my period of healing, I discovered the depths of each one and how it contributes to the person I am today and how reconnecting to the wisdom of my soul I can bring all this wisdom forward to you. This is a very deep episode, one I loved filming and one which I wish my younger self knew about all those years ago. I am forever grateful for finding this incredible work and even more grateful to be passing this wisdom on to you.

A letter to my younger self,

This was quite emotional looking back at the younger version of me, thinking back on who she was all those years ago, how she felt, how she saw herself and how difficult she knew love to be. Bless her! I have so much compassion for that version of me, all she did in the name of love and how even though she completely lost herself, scared of the future she still found the courage and bravery to take the leap and leave everything she knew.

'Home Is Where The Heart Is'

I had a rather large realization the night I recorded this podcast and I thought it would be a great topic to be spoken about after so many of us, me included, look unconsciously for a home in a person without realizing that the home we are desiring outside of us is in actual fact within us all along. 

I dive deep into understanding our emotional states and how many women are in relationships or marriages with men in the Middle East due to their vulnerability at the time of meeting their person and without they are looking for love that they didn't receive as a child in their relationships. I personally did the same after my own parents divorced hence why I understand more than most the difficulties you can get into when you don't have a deeper understanding of yourself emotionally.

Welcome to the first OFFICAL episode of The Oracle of Egypt!!!

Discovering my own inner power during my personal journey changed the whole direction of my life especially when the first time I found it was at a very pivotal time in my marriage breakdown of 8 years.
