Each year men and elves are tested to see if the Fritual of their kingdom will be revealed, a powerful person able to control an elemental magick. Shauna Flynn has always wanted to meet a Fritual, but these magick users had all but disappeared in the war of men and elves nearly two hundred years before. About Author Katelyn Costello

Katelyn Costello started writing when she was twelve out of spite. Her best friend got to go to a writing workshop, and she didn't. So she begged her way in and showed up with a twenty-eight page…
short story to a poetry workshop. Nevertheless, she was bitten by the writing bug. Costello is a graduate of Wells College were she received a Bachelor of Art with a major in English: Creative Writing and a minor in theatre. When not writing, Costello works in the visual arts as a photographer, stage manager, and lighting designer. Her first book, The Frituals, was published in 2018.
