But we’ll never cover a movie because it's based on a book, ever! It's important to Overbye that you understand that's not what's happening here. Them’s the rules. Also we get very into our cats’ various health issues on this one. Be warned.

Ah, 1969. The flamethrowers, the cultist murders, the unfettered gore. This week on Authorized, it's Once Upon A Time in Hollywood! Probably the only novelization we'll ever cover that's written by the director of the film, and arguably it's not a novelization at all. Follow your fearless hosts as we interrogate whether this director's fanfic of his own film improves, detracts, or so-so's original.
