  • Roxanne St. Claire introduces Barefoot Bay Timeless LIVE on Authors on the Air
Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes the sweet and sassy Rocki St Claire back to the show to discuss her sassy and sexy new Barefoot Bay series "Barefoot Bay Timeless".  Here's what Rocki says about herself:
With two small children and one big “real” job, writing my first novel wasn’t easy, but I did finish a manuscript that managed to get the attention of a literary agent. She told me to do one thing and one thing fast: write another book. (The first one is usually a “learner” book, honestly.) That second manuscript sold to Simon & Schuster’s Pocket Books and was released in 2003 as Tropical Getaway. Since then, I’ve written over forty more, in multiple genres, and long ago replaced the corporate ladder with the rollercoaster of publishing as a full-time novelist. Finally, writing is my real job.Today, I live in a small Florida beach community on the “space coast” with my husband and our two amazing dogs, and have recently sent our son to law school and daughter to college. The Barefoot Bay Timeless series:  A trilogy of contemporary love stories that celebrates the appeal of the silver fox hero with plenty of laughs, a few tears, and a chance to fall for a man who’s lived and loved and knows exactly how to treat a woman. I promise you’ll break out a tissue or two with these emotional stories about three handsome, accomplished, and sexy men in their forties who kick off their shoes and fall in love again.

  • Anthony nominee Brian Panowich & author J Todd Scott on Authors on the Air
Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes Anthony nominee Brian Panowich (Bull Mountain) and his tour partner author J. Todd Scott (The Far Empty).
“Panowich pulls off a daunting undertaking with astounding success . . . The storytelling is mesmerizing, with virtually every chapter set in a different timeline and focused on a single character, but the sense of immediacy carries over into each era.  And while the violence is shocking in its coldhearted brutality, it’s as aesthetically choreographed as any ballet.”—Marilyn Stasio, The New York Times Book Review   Bull Mountain is nominated for a 2016 Anthony Award.
“J. Todd Scott’s The Far Empty is so good I wish I’d written it. The poetic and bloody ground of west Texas has given birth to a powerful new voice in contemporary western crime fiction.” —Craig Johnson, New York Times–bestselling author of the Walt Longmire series.  In this gritty crime debut set in the stark Texas borderlands, an unearthed skeleton will throw a small town into violent turmoil.
