Host Tabatha Pope welcomes romance author, Shevaun Delucia to "The Librarian" on the Authors on the Air Global Radio Network.

Shevaun DeLucia, author of the Eternal Mixture series, lives in upstate New York with her husband, four children, and two dogs. As a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, she fell in love with reading. She indulged in the small moments that took her away from the reality of her loud, rambunctious household, bringing her into a world of fantasy. When reading wasn’t enough to satisfy her, she turned to writing, determined to create the perfect ending of her own.

Shannon Fisher interviews Shannon Keith, President and Founder of the Beagle Freedom Project (BFP). You've seen the viral YouTube videos showing terrified beagles hesitant to come out of crates but ultimately overcoming their fear and frolic in the grass? Those were made by BFP! Shannon Keith's organization fights for animal rights on many levels, from fighting for legislation requiring humane treatment of laboratory animals to physically rescuing beagles used in laboratory testing and helping them assimilate into life outside of the lab - and ultimately finding them loving homes.

Most beagles used in experiments have never seen grass, the sun, or anything outside the walls of a laboratory. They have received little or no affection & are often afraid of people. Beagle Freedom Project is doing some amazing work in bringing joy & love to these animals. Shannon and her BFP team work tirelessly to rescue animals from cruel circumstances, rehabilitate them, and get them the love and care they deserve.

Shannon Fisher interviews artist and author, Susan Singer, about her book for expectant mothers, Birth Affirmations. Susan wrote and illustrated the book, filled with positive statements to help pregnant women develop an empowered, positive mindset for giving birth. The Birth Affirmations book guides pregnant women through creating and accepting their own personal birthing experience, making it perfect for her - whatever that might mean.

They will discuss Susan's inspirations for the book, both the text and the illustrations, and the manner in which women can use these affirmations to strengthen their connectedness to themselves, their child, and the world throughout pregnancy, during delivery, and following birth.

THE LIBRARIAN host, Tabatha Pope, welcomes romance author, Ruth Cardello to Authors on the Air.

Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York–then came full circle and moved back to Rhode Island. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.

She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. Ruth writes about billionaires and cowboys. Her readers often tell her how much they love the emotional journey her stories provided, from laughter to tears, but always leaving them with a smile.  Ruth calls her big hair, escapist romances "Bathtub Reads".  When she’s not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm, riding her horses, or connecting with her readers online. You can find out more about Ruth and her books, at her website: www.ruthcardello.com.
