 Chris Walter, a recovering drug addict and hope-to-die punk rocker, began writing purposefully in 1998 after realizing that his life up to that point had been largely meaningless.  His first published novel, Punk Rules OK went largely unnoticed except by detractors, inspiring him to take a DIY approach to the game. He started GFY Press and began to write, publish, and distribute a steady stream of fiction novels and music biographies. In 2001, GFY Press expanded to include unschooled troublemakers Simon Snotface, Stewart Black, and an Australian, Drew Gates, drawing further criticism from the established literary industry. 16 years later, Chris Walter and GFY Press remain unrepentant and committed. Craig Fautus Buck  is a novelist and screenwriter based in Los Angeles, where noir was born. He is a 2015 Macavity Award winner for Best Short Story "Honeymoon Sweet," which was also nominated for an Anthony Award. His debut novel, the noir romp "Go Down Hard", was published by Brash Books in May, 2015. Before that it was awarded First Runner Up for the Claymore Award at Killer Nashville. His short story "Dead End," was nominated for an Anthony Award in 2014, and its tale was continued in his first novella "Psycho Logic," published by Stark Raving Press that same year. He has also worked as a journalist, a photographer, a nonfiction book author, a writer-producer for network television, and a professional limerick writer.  Among other works, two nonfiction books were #1 NYT bestsellers--one pop-psychology the other pop-gynecology. His short film, "Overnight Sensation", was nominated for an Academy Award. He was one of the writers on the seminal miniseries "V: The Final Battle." He wrote the famous episode where "The Incredible Hulk" dropped acid. And his indie feature "Smuggling for Gandhi" is scheduled for production in 2016.
