Mobley is the Immediate Past President of the Women and Theatre Program of the Association of Theatre in Higher Education. Holding a PhD in Theatre Studies from The City University of New York Graduate Center, an MFA in Dramaturgy and Theatre Criticism from Brooklyn College, and a BA in Theatre from the College of William and Mary, Mobley has worked as a performer and dramaturge throughout the New York City metropolitan area. She also serves as a curator of the Jane Chambers Feminist Playwriting Contest.

Tonight on The Authentic Woman, we will discuss Jennifer-Scott Mobley's fascinating new book, Female Bodies on the American Stage: Enter Fat Actress, which analyzes the female body in performance, specifically the manner in which in which we represent and interperet the fat feminine form.
