JOY Breakfast have been talking about Pride a lot this month, it being Pride Month and all, but this Sunday June 18th is another type of Pride Day, it’s Autistic Pride Day. 

Being autistic is a form of neurodiversity, and as with many forms of neuro diversity, the many challenging thing autistic people face comes from the attitudes and lack of support that comes from the world around them rather than space and spectrum they may sit on.
