Personality changes following organ transplants have been reported for decades, including accounts of recipients acquiring the personality characteristics of their donor. There have been numerous studies done to determine whether this is a real phenomenon, but the question remains: can organ donation recipients really inherit memories, talents, and even the personality of the donor?
