Three truths to help us stand strong when culture shifts. Culture is always trying to captivate God's people. How we respond will determine whether we stand for the things of  God or bow to the kings of this world. 

Babylon may no longer be a nation, but it's still an attitude and spirit at work around the world. We discuss the history, motive, and mission of the Babylonian culture through time. 

We always reach up for God when things aren't going our way and we need some extra strength and stability. What about when everything is going just as planned? That could be the time that we need to lean in the most to prevent getting caught up in our own strength. 

We understand and can even support when bad things happen to bad people. How do we reconcile when bad things happen to good people? We have to remember that apart from God no one is good. 

Why does the God of the Old Testament seem different than the God of the New Testament? He's not. He's the same. Passionately jealous for you. He's good and everything thing He does (even if it doesn't feel good) is for our good.
