Man, I remember even a few weeks back working on a sales memoir for Memoir Launch actually...

 

I had the title down...and that’s about it...

 

And I worked on it for about 5 weeks...

 

Most of which was spent just thinking about the amount of time it’d take for me to actually get it all done...

 

That and how much I’d really even get out of writing it...

 

And in the rare moments, I struggled to find a cohesive progression to the random soup of insanely good ideas that my sales memoir would consist of...

 

Then, with a headache, I just came back to reality and accepted the fact that I wasn’t about to sit down and spend a whole year of my life writing... 

 

I mean, wholeheartedly, I can say that the thing that would probably get this business (and the IDEA behind it all) out to people the fastest and in the most impactful way would be a sales memoir...

 

(As we’ve seen historically with other sales memoirs such as Mein Kampf, Communist Manifesto, The Bible and the aforementioned others) 

 

But, again; yeah, but nah, right? 

 

Writing is just a little too time consuming and complex of a beast at times to be a sensible option in a busy life...

 

But what other options are as effective? 

 

Naturally, the first alternative that anyone in that situation would think of is what? 

 

A ghostwriter, right? 

 

I’d say so. 

 

But, you see, as an actual working (ex) ghostwriter I’ll be the first to admit that paying for a ghostwriter is actually a pretty terrible idea

My name is Rashad and I’ll be working in tandem with Dallas throughout the development of this series.

Part 1 covers the nature of change in individuals, and serves as food for thought along with a few tips for stimulating growth in the psyche.

I’ll cover some of the forces behind change, its limitations, its accessibility, and its rationale/feasibility.

A couple months ago I began to branch out and solely follow all the entrepreneurs that were at the top of the game...

And you know what? I was kind of disappointed, I can't lie to you. 

I hate waking up every day, checking in on Instagram and Facebook and all the different places where I follow the minds that are supposedly driving change in the world and only seeing noise...

That's it. 

Regardless of which social site I choose to log into, all I ever experience is a cesspool of the same old regurgitated and rehashed ideas that everyone always says..

"Hustle, hustle, hustle..."

"I wake up at 3am to hustle"

"I'm a business or marketing coach..."

"I run an agency"

"The answer is simple; provide value"

And all these different bs sayings and traditions that everyone who has an internet connection has heard a million and a half times...

 

I've started to realize something is what I'm saying...

 

There are only a few guys that are actually different and innovative...

And the rest are just noise.

The rest are just clones and replicas. 

And they stand no chance at and have no hand in actually pushing the world forward. 

 

Innovation is a rare thing. 

 

And very rarely does someone have that thing. 

More often "entrepreneurs" see someone who is innovative and they just copy. 

And I believe this "culture" of entrepreneurialism we've been building is a result of that. 

People hear an innovator say something innovative one time and just take the idea, re-word it, and run with it.

And so all they have to offer that the end of the day is more of the same that we've already heard a million times. 

 

The reason this is bad is because our job description is based in the idea of creation. Creating new things. Because creating new things results in new stuff. The future.

This is an obvious one. I get $25,000 is what the service is worth, but $25,000 grand for inaccurate work that I’ll just throw out upon receiving is senseless.  - Some of the writers just vanished with my work or was a bit wonky with deadlines and responses-- it’s always a pain to work for prolonged periods with ideas so sensitive.  - It takes a lot longer to tell someone your story and have them write it then to just write it yourself, oddly enough.  - A great number of ghostwriters just outsourced to other writers in far off countries  - And 100% of ghostwriters have failed to give me 100% of myself in the work Which, to that last point, is fair enough. Only we can ever truly know 100% of ourselves.  And that’s just a fact of life.  So, taking all of this into consideration.
