Emotional health comes from having a healthy self image. A healthy self image can only come from find our identity in Jesus Christ. When our identity is not in Christ, we extract our identity from ourselves. This usually means we determine our worth by our talents, accomplishments, how we compare to those around us, our ideas, intellect, strength, willpower, knowledge, attractiveness, wealth, etc. The Apostle Paul almost constantly spoke of being "in Christ." It was the reality in which he lived and one that he constantly confessed with his mouth. "I am...." The sentence that comes after these two words will either boast of you, or boast about who you belong to.

In this message, Matt shares about being a bond slave of Jesus - living a life that is not our own. We find that Mary, Peter, Paul, Timothy and others referred to themselves as the Bond Slaves of God. They were those who lives were not their own but were lived in the service of Jesus for His purposes.

The mystery hidden through the ages has been revealed. It is that Jesus lives inside of us. Where we go, He goes and what we do, He is doing. We are called to be the stars that shine brightly in the darkness of times, given the Spirit so that we will have answers and needed wisdom for these moments as Daniel foretold (12:3). In this message, Matt encourages us to shine and then addresses the racial tension in our country and the attacks on our law enforcement, having representatives from both Black and Blue share before praying and ministering to one another.
