The world's economic system is destroyed, leading people to deep loss because they invested their lives in it. These are people who gained the whole world but lost their souls.

Just as God told Joshua to build a memorial to remind the people of His faithfulness and provision, its healthy for us to pause and remind ourselves of the same thing.

As we wait for our King to come for us, we have to refuse the advances of anyone or anything that would take our eyes off Jesus.
