4. Atonement heals with certainty, and cures all sickness. ²For the mind which understands that sickness can be nothing but a dream is not deceived by forms the dream may take. ³Sickness where guilt is absent cannot come, for it is but another form of guilt. ⁴Atonement does not heal the sick, for that is not a cure. ⁵It takes away the guilt that makes the sickness possible. ⁶And that is cure indeed. ⁷For sickness now is gone, with nothing left to which it can return. 5. Peace be to you who have been cured in God, and not in idle dreams. ²For cure must come from holiness, and holiness can not be found where sin is cherished. ³God abides in holy temples. ⁴He is barred where sin has entered. ⁵Yet there is no place where He is not. ⁶And therefore sin can have no home in which to hide from His beneficence. ⁷There is no place where holiness is not, and nowhere sin and sickness can abide. 6. We have observed before how many senseless things have seemed to you to be salvation. ²Each has imprisoned you with laws as senseless as itself. ³You are not bound by them. ⁴Yet to understand that this is so, you must first realize salvation lies not there. ⁵While you would seek for it in things that have no meaning, you bind yourself to laws that make no sense. ⁶Thus do you seek to prove salvation is where it is not.
2. Today we will be glad you cannot prove it. ²For if you could, you would forever seek salvation where it is not, and never find it. ³The idea for today tells you once again how simple is salvation. ⁴Look for it where it waits for you, and there it will be found. ⁵Look nowhere else, for it is nowhere else.
3. Think of the freedom in the recognition that you are not bound by all the strange and twisted laws you have set up to save you. ²You really think that you would starve unless you have stacks of green paper strips and piles of metal discs. ³You really think a small round pellet or some fluid pushed into your veins through a sharpened needle will ward off disease and death. ⁴You really think you are alone unless another body is with you.
4. It is insanity that thinks these things. ²You call them laws, and put them under different names in a long catalogue of rituals that have no use and serve no purpose. ³You think you must obey the “laws” of medicine, of economics and of health. ⁴Protect the body, and you will be saved.
5. These are not laws, but madness. ²The body is endangered by the mind that hurts itself. ³The body suffers just in order that the mind will fail to see it is the victim of itself. ⁴The body’s suffering is a mask the mind holds up to hide what really suffers. ⁵It would not understand it is its own enemy; that it attacks itself and wants to die. ⁶It is from this your “laws” would save the body. ⁷It is for this you think you are a body.

The Koan of Conundrums & Learning Listening to Follow ~ Satsang w/ Dear One ~ 5.27.22

He then checked in with each participant individually offering opportunities for questions, clarifications and simple joinings of Love before releasing the floor to our Dear One "Doug" to lead us into a powerful union in Light. The Final Satsang. It's Over. You're Done! ~ Satsang "After Hours" w/ Dear One ~ Dave Phare ~5.25.22

The "After Hour" Satsang's we've been having have been very intimate and extremely powerful and this one did not disappoint. In fact, this could very well be "The Final Satsang" needed.

During this joining Dear One not only encouraged in us the realization of the oneness and immediacy of The Christ; he declared it, and a palpable fire was lit in everyone in participation. And while not a terribly long joining, it was, however, incredibly impactful and resolute. Such that being hit with the certainty and conviction that the "search is over!" left a lingering sense of revelation and liberation and a promise of Truth and only the Truth as the reality of our being.

Let us wait here in silence, and kneel down an instant in our gratitude to Him Who called to us and helped us hear His Call. ²And then let us arise and go in faith along the way to Him. ³Now we are sure we do not walk alone. ⁴For God is here, and with Him all our brothers. ⁵Now we know that we will never lose the way again. ⁶The song begins again which had been stopped only an instant, though it seems to be unsung forever. ⁷What is here begun will grow in life and strength and hope, until the world is still an instant and forgets all that the dream of sin had made of it.

In this gathering, Dave popped into our Pre -Satsang ACIM first 50 Review as we were finishing Lesson 46., "God is the Love in which I forgive." having renamed himself "Jah!", starting our Satsang off joyfully checking in with participants who seemed to be in the throes of shitty days before quickly shifting in to the lessons in healing. *ACIM T-19. IV-B.1:1-4 *B. The Second Obstacle:

*The Belief the Body is Valuable for What It Offers 1. We said that peace must first surmount the obstacle of your desire to get rid of it. ²Where the attraction of guilt holds sway, peace is not wanted. ³The second obstacle that peace must flow across, and closely related to the first, is the belief that the body is valuable for what it offers. ⁴For here is the attraction of guilt made manifest in the body, and seen in it. Your distorted perceptions produce a dense cover over miracle impulses, making it hard for them to reach your own awareness. ²The confusion of miracle impulses with physical impulses is a major perceptual distortion. ³Physical impulses are misdirected miracle impulses. ⁴All real pleasure comes from doing God’s Will. ⁵This is because _not_ doing it is a denial of Self. ⁶Denial of Self results in illusions, while correction of the error brings release from it. ⁷Do not deceive yourself into believing that you can relate in peace to God or to your brothers with anything external. 2. Child of God, you were created to create the good, the beautiful and the holy. ²Do not forget this. ³The Love of God, for a little while, must still be expressed through one body to another, because vision is still so dim. ⁴You can use your body best to help you enlarge your perception so you can achieve real vision, of which the physical eye is incapable. ⁵Learning to do this is the body’s only true usefulness. The Fix Is In, Everything's a Miracle! (pt. 2) ~ Light Session and Q&A w/ Dear One ~ 5.20.22

After the first part of our joining with the teaching touching on a range of various topics, the overall lesson, as usual, stayed consistent in its reminder to remain ever vigilant for the Truth and only the Truth. And in addition, the need for a deepening commitment to become more and more miracle-minded with complete and total reliance on the miraculous.
As witnessed, the light session is an intimate invitation into ever present Light and all that that entails... Words can't help but fail in describing what only an experience is qualified to give. This offering however, presents a call not only to spectate but an invitation to join in as well.

It is important to remember that miracles and vision necessarily go together. ²This needs repeating, and frequent repeating. ³It is a central idea in your new thought system, and the perception that it produces. ⁴The miracle is always there. ⁵Its presence is not caused by your vision; its absence is not the result of your failure to see. ⁶It is only your awareness of miracles that is affected. ⁷You will see them in the light; you will not see them in the dark. 2. This was a sweet little Satsang with Dear One. 🥰🙏🏽 Due to, presumably, the time of this joining it was lightly attended and as such a very spontaneous conversation arose. So much so I forgot to press record so all that's preserved is the second half of this very engaging and profitable conversation with Dear One.

Lesson 17 spawned a deep teaching and beautiful interaction.

*ACIM WB Lesson 17 *I see no neutral things.
This idea is another step in the direction of identifying cause and effect as it really operates in the world. ²You see no neutral things because you have no neutral thoughts. ³It is always the thought that comes first, despite the temptation to believe that it is the other way around. ⁴This is not the way the world thinks, but you must learn that it is the way you think. ⁵If it were not so, perception would have no cause, and would itself be the cause of reality. ⁶In view of its highly variable nature, this is hardly likely. 2. In applying today’s idea, say to yourself, with eyes open: ²I see no neutral things because I have no neutral thoughts. ³Then look about you, resting your glance on each thing you note long enough to say: ⁴I do not see a neutral _____, because my thoughts about _________ are not neutral. ⁵For example, you might say: ⁶I do not see a neutral wall, because my thoughts about walls are not neutral. ⁷I do not see a neutral body, because my thoughts about bodies are not neutral. 3. As usual, it is essential to make no distinctions between what you believe to be animate or inanimate; pleasant or unpleasant. ²Regardless of what you may believe, you do not see anything that is really alive or really joyous. ³That is because you are unaware as yet of any thought that is really true, and therefore really happy. 4. Three or four specific practice periods are recommended, and no less than three are required for maximum benefit, even if you experience resistance. ²However, if you do, the length of the practice period may be reduced to less than the minute or so that is otherwise recommended.

5. Forgiveness that is learned of me does not use fear to undo fear. ²Nor does it make real the unreal and then destroy it. ³Forgiveness through the Holy Spirit lies simply in looking beyond error from the beginning, and thus keeping it unreal for you. ⁴Do not let any belief in its realness enter your mind, or you will also believe that you must undo what you have made in order to be forgiven. ⁵What has no effect does not exist, and to the Holy Spirit the effects of error are nonexistent. ⁶By steadily and consistently cancelling out all its effects, everywhere and in all respects, He teaches that the ego does not exist and proves it.

⁵Denying what you are, and firm in faith that you are something else, this “something else” that you have made to be yourself becomes your sight. ⁶Yet it must be the “something else” that sees, and as _not_ you, explains its sight _to_ you. ⁷Your vision would, of course, render this quite unnecessary. ⁸Yet if your eyes are closed and you have called upon this thing to lead you, asking it to explain to you the world it sees, you have no reason not to listen, nor to suspect that what it tells you is not true. ⁹Reason would tell you it cannot be true _because_ you do not understand it. ¹⁰God has no secrets. ¹¹He does not lead you through a world of misery, waiting to tell you, at the journey’s end, why He did this to you.

*ACIM T-20.I.1:1-5 *The Vision of Holiness

*I. Holy Week 1. This is Palm Sunday, the celebration of victory and the acceptance of the truth. ²Let us not spend this holy week brooding on the crucifixion of God’s Son, but happily in the celebration of his release. ³For Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. ⁴A slain Christ has no meaning. ⁵But a risen Christ becomes the symbol of the Son of God’s forgiveness on himself; the sign he looks upon himself as healed and whole.

This Satsang immediately followed, as all of our Satsang's do, with a review of the first 50 lessons of "A Course in Miracles". There was a palpable activation in the room and Dear One encouraged an awareness of the continuous flow of these Light activations and the opportunities to extend as we go about our "busy doings". A reminder was also offered to follow the specific guidance given in "The Course" in the application of these lessons and resist the temptation to work out salvation on our own terms based on past learning and succumb to the denial of the fullness of what's being offered through the application and activation of these lessons.

A little housekeeping with a powerful reminder to rely totally on the Miracle and be willing to let loose our past learnings, our "helpful" rituals, and even including this "Course".

*ACIM W-189.7:1-5 *Lesson 189

*I feel the Love of God within me now.

7. Simply do this: Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is; all concepts you have learned about the world; all images you hold about yourself. ²Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed. ³Hold onto nothing. ⁴Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything. ⁵Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God.

Another powerful moment in this joining around the same topic of letting go of concepts, limitations, and the seeming safety of our own self-defined structures where a determination was stressed...either (be) in or out...right here and right now! In this section he gave a powerfully clear warning to beware, "...there's like this seemingly never-ending brick wall of concepts.". And an even more powerful follow-up to that statement, "The concepts are useful for a moment because they give meaning to the principles (and) The principles are only useful if you apply them. It's the application of principles that brings the result! ...Experience is the teacher and it's experience that we're about here!"🎤

Then the joining fell into a bit of Q&A; from which some powerfully transparent questions flowed; which were met with crystal clear responses and a beautiful personal parable and helpful Q&A.

This was a really dense Satsang that continued straight into our Light Session.
So grateful for the generosity of Dear One and all the willing participants, however as Dave was quick to remind me upon expressing this gratitude to him later... All Thanks be to God!

*ACIM T-14.II.1:1 *II. The Happy Learner
