Alyssia Strasser is a multidisciplinary California based artist who focuses on themes of the subconscious mind and the exploration of human expression. Her work includes these characters/bodies and a lot of times the characters are wandering in an unknown space leading somewhere, which represents the subconscious mind. In this space the characters come across trauma, memories, and subjective reality based on their perceptions. This alternate reality created in her work can be applied to our own daily lives. So enjoy all the mind stretching and share it with friends!

In this episode I pick up some Sunfruits with Winnie McQuinn Okay not really as he is all the way in Melbourne, Australia. We did get to catch up all the way in different time zones but the same vibes for sure. Winter is my first of hopefully many more musicians for guests! I think it was very interesting from discussing his first solo record A Rabble Of Bees, George Harrison, politics in America and Australia, but most importantly environmental activism in music. In this episode of Awareness with Amandolin I talk about mindfulness and SERVICE with Michael Knote the creator of the non profit organization Have A Gay Day I suggest giving a like to the facebook page you would be joining the 1,342,629 other people who love what is going on with this organization. We dive into a little of Michaels story including being raised in a Christian cult and even being homeless and how he chose to create something out of it all. The organizations mission to be a safe space and opening and welcoming to all people. To put it simply they do the work and show love! Now go and be inspired just give this episode a listen. If you take anything from it please feed those  who need it and if you can't find the time to be of service the community maybe consider donating to a place like Have A Gay Day where your donation is going to help those in need with no strings attached or hoops to jump through!
