Explaining life with migraines is a delicate balance of trying to explain how difficult it can be along with downplaying in certain circumstances to avoid intrusive questions. I tend to find myself downplaying migraines more often than the opposite but unless I can talk about the nuance, it always feels like you're leaving out important information.

One of the biggest insights I have had with my life with chronic illness is that all bad days pass. Along with that, the only thing that is constant, even with chronic illness is change.
