My wee son gave me the 'aha' moment I needed this week.

The story that helped me accept that this is true (and the whole journey can be more fun than I imagined).

Thoughts about my weight and how I should be skinnier used to my daily reality. I tried different diets, 30 day challenges (no sugar, no meat, no dairy, no alcohol, no carbs, no bread etc.etc.etc.) and while there were temporary solutions, I discovered there's a true solution that can help you achieve FREEDOM in this area of life. Happy to share my story today.

Today, I share how I meet Mr. Aussem. After many years of dreaming about being in a relationship, he entered my life in a way I didn’t expect. We’re celebrating seven years together now (and one year married!) and our relationship continues to become more awesome (yes, even with a 7 month old baby)! I share our story and also three pieces of advice I wish I had when I was (desperately) searching for him.

It's a brand new year! And so far...the best year of my life 🤩🤣. Today I'm sharing what awesome living is and a story from an interview last year that inspired the evolution of the show!

Prasanna (he/him) is a documentary producer, human rights lawyer, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) consultant, accessibility advisor, speaker, writer, and arts correspondent. Prasanna leads his own DEIB consultancy Prasanna Ranganathan Consulting and previously served as the Head of Diversity and Belonging at Shopify and as a human rights lawyer with the Government of Canada, the United Nations, the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, and the Independent Street Checks Review. Prasanna is a Consulting Producer on the 2021 docuseries Born for Business about entrepreneurs with disabilities (NBC Peacock, Crave) and a seasoned speaker on DEIB and disability, having spoken at Chronicon and having served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Southern California Annenberg Inclusion Initiative on inclusive storytelling. Proudly claiming his identity as a racialized, LGBTQ2+ person with a disability (blindness), Prasanna is a board member of the Disability Screen Office and a past board member of Inside Out.
