Join us as we discuss reflections on our journey from fresh grads to almost-30s, and how social media shapes our relationships and expectations.

You know when your best friend calls and after an hour of conversation, something comes up i.e., getting an oil change, taking out your braids, studying, etc? What do most of us say? "Girl, let me call you back." Nine times out of ten, there is never a callback. It's kind of like this podcast, we've been gone for some time dealing with the various things life has thrown at us, but we're back. A callback, just checking in, circling back - if you will. And we're better.
In this return to our podcast, we come back in true awkward girl fashion. We're talking about navigating our "late twenties" - that's right, fully accepting our auntie role, trusting our gut (we've managed to make relatively solid decisions so far, let's not talk about the decision to eat Ben and Jerry's despite our digestive disagreement), just getting old - yeah, I'm talking to you my good sis who turned around for a bombastic side eye and regretted it and trying to find a partner who will genuinely indulge our desire to be a passenger princess.
It's been hard, but God has been good to us! We've missed you all.

More to come.
Virginia is for lovers as Social Media is for scammers. That’s right, in this episode we get into IT, regarding this recent glorification of scammers. Be it Tinder, Twitter or Tofu (cue Bad Vegan), it seems like the girls can’t catch a break. What about society is causing the folks to fall for these scams and what about “my enemies are after me” compels us to write off our lives like we’re Daddy Warbucks?
It may not be worth a Netflix special but we’d love to hear about the things ya’ll have done for LOVE (?)!

Awks out!
Ever hold onto your wig for dear life in a wind tunnel, have a braid betray you in the company of your white friends, or get one too many compliments on your newly straightened hair? Yep, we've all been there. Join Hannah and Bianca as they discuss all the quirky things associated with Black hair, from perceptions in the workplace, hair switchups on the daily, and how NOT to use Gorilla Glue (we’re so happy for you Tessica Brown)!
