Today was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do. I’m diving into the "tears of gratitude" I felt seeing my journals out in the world, the tactical updates I made to my Amazon listings (shoutout to "Start Here" instructions!), and why I'm officially on the waitlist for a 10-day silent meditation retreat. If you’ve ever felt the urge to hoard knowledge or spiral into comparison, this episode is a call to open the gates, share the AI hacks, and trust that what is meant for you will not pass you by.
Today was a heart-filling reminder that I am making a real impact. I woke up at 9:30 AM to a breakfast scramble that was too big for a burrito, survived a lactose intolerance "attack" at the gym, and ended the night finding out that two women in my Financial Peace class bought my journals. From helping my dad file an LLC to calculating that I’ve written 102 Substack articles in 139 days, I’m finally leaning into the joy of the present moment: it was simply a good, productive, and meaningful day.
Today was a testament to the "Mamba Mentality" meeting total flexibility. After a surprise 5:00 AM bedtime thanks to a midnight tech-support request from my dad, I still managed to pivot: I experimented with a new "rune-free" painting method that turned out beautiful, simplified a complicated Crunchwrap recipe into a delicious burrito, and shared my new coloring book experience with my class. I’m learning that even when the routine breaks, I can still create something meaningful, whether it's an 88-gram cookie or a brand-new business strategy.
Today was a lesson in staying centered amidst the "beautiful chaos" of family life, from navigating last-minute Uber requests for my dad to handling a "mission impossible" search for my mom’s lost items. I’m leaning into my Oracle card of the month, “Get Grounded,” by experimenting with silent meditation, filing away my green hair for a fresh start next month, and planning a culinary adventure involving tater tot burritos and cinnamon oatmeal cookies. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is realize that life is already "pretty good" and give yourself permission to paint, bake, and just be.
I’m talking to you after a legendary 15-hour recovery sleep to balance out my 26-hour marathon. Today was the ultimate "Executive Day Off": I woke up at 5:00 PM, had one delicious Korean dinner with my family, and spent about 45 minutes being a total boss on KDP by adding "A+ Content" to my coloring book. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is listen to your body and give yourself the grace of an 8-hour day.
I’m talking to you after a Herculean 22-hour day that started at 1:30 AM and involved three meals at Buc-ee’s, a "Safety Mission" drive to Fort Worth, and the loudest music I’ve ever heard at 8:00 AM. Between the last minute blow dry before we left and the "Tech Support" finale for my dad, this day was a masterclass in endurance, strategic parking, and the absolute necessity of a ginger ale for a grumpy stomach
I’m talking to you with damp hair and a flustered heart as my 2:00 AM road trip just got bumped up by 45 minutes. Between a cold shower that cut out halfway and a deep meditation that turned into a "weighted blanket nap," my entire schedule is officially out of order. But even in the chaos, I’m celebrating small wins: five more days of video content filmed, a heart-to-heart with my sister about her writing dreams, and the realization that my non-traditional path is exactly where I’m supposed to be
Life is what happens when you’re busy making "lion-haired" plans. Today was the perfect balance of adult responsibility, like filing my taxes to get a whole $6 and spontaneous joy, like a surprise lunch with a classmate who was passing through town. I'm learning that rest isn't "making excuses"; it's the necessary grace I owe myself after a high-octane launch week. Plus, I'm celebrating a major win: someone officially bought my coloring book
I’m coming to you with "lion hair" and sore thighs after my first real gym session since November. Today was a masterclass in the "unplanned productive" and while I might not have finished my book or my Patreon list, I resubmitted my coloring book with a new cover, taught a classmate how to speak their book into existence, and revamped my entire website. Plus, I’m getting real about my $75,000 emergency fund goal and why I’m okay with giving someone the "easy path" to success without feeling the need to drag them across the finish line
I’m taking a deep breath today after making the executive decision to push my Patreon launch to March. Realizing that I was the one creating the pressure, I decided to choose my mental health over my to-do list, allowing me to fully show up for a powerful two-hour therapy intake and a spontaneous road trip to Fort Worth with my dad. Sometimes, the most productive thing you can do is admit you don't have the bandwidth and give yourself the grace to just exist
