Zack Card wanted to be part of the change he was looking for and on August 20, 2022, filed to run for Quinte West City Council (Ward 1). He is passionate about Quinte West and as a young millennial, he took his shot.  

He has entrepreneurial experience, opening Wild Card Brewing with his brother in 2015, and has experience with the Chamber of Commerce. He achieved his goal and was elected to council with the top votes for Ward 1.
