Well, well, well.. Your therapist has been doing their thing, giving advice, listening, helping you through problems... But you're using them as a crutch. That's a big no-no. In therapy, it's important to remember that you put in the work, and don't rely solely on your therapist to solve your problems for you. They're there to guide you, and it's your job to walk down the path. Tune into this week's episode!
Why would anyone need to go to therapy just to talk about their *~feelings~*? Therapy is more than just talking about your feelings. It's about figuring out steps to improve and figure out how to work through your problems.
Tune into this week's episode where we are joined by Emily, our wonderful guest, to talk about the purpose of therapy.
We've said before that therapy is a huge first step. But imagine this: you go to therapy every week, you spend time sitting in the office, on that nice couch, you pour your heart out, you get up, you leave, rinse, repeat. After a month or so, things still feel the same. What the hell? Well, ask yourself, are you actually putting in the effort to get better? The healing process is hard and like anything, it takes work. Hard work. We can't solely rely on our therapists to make things better for us. Tune in to this episode of Baby, It's Therapy to learn the importance of putting in the work, and different things you can try!
