I wholeheartedly believe that Linkin Park are fantastic band that should be role models for many bands. We’ll go through it all on this episode as well as a legitimate scoop on how the band broke the Chinese market.
Travelling through Asia, hanging out in rock bars, I remember conversations with people in Tokyo, Jakarta and Xi’an asking if I was in to Linkin Park.
They seemed to have had a knack of making lasting impressions on their fans and that was evident at the Chester Bennington memorial events around the world.

Honestly, there was a lot I wanted to say about this band and didn’t get to cover it all, but we hope you can enjoy the episode and come out the other side with even more respect for the band.

We're talking the Little Nicky soundtrack today so it goes without saying that we do also bring up I Still Know What You Did Last Summer spoilers.

Little Nicky is able to disprove a long held theory that any move that starts with a P.O.D song can't be bad. This movie is absolutely very bad.
As in, why was this made kind of bad. But it does have a very solid soundtrack featuring Cypress Hill, Disturbed, Deftones, Incubus, Linkin Park and Filter to name a few.
Little Nicky's bedroom looked like my teenage bedroom covered in Limp Bizkit and Korn posters but other than that, there is no real reference to these bands or the music in the script.

Were Muse the quickest band in history to get sucked up their own arses (asses for you American listeners)?

This is the album that saw the two co-hosts become friends. It was a note in a bottle, thrown into an ocean and picked up in New Zealand. It's been an album that I go back to often but have never really tuned into the lyrics and what they really meant. But now having my eyes opened to it and then reading quotes from Daryl Pulambo, Glassjaw's singer; it's a lot harder to ignore. And ignore it we shouldn't.
Does this impact on our enjoyment of the album?

We've got an interesting episode for you this week as Benjii is huge into this album and I have only just heard it. Fear Factory always seemed like a band that the older kids cranked while I was marinating in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 soundtrack. Big kids out front of TimeZone wore Fear Factory shirts and I wore Mudvayne shirts. But now, I am a big kid and I can listen to Fear Factory.
So listen as we German duplex each other with knowledge, hot takes, drop pineapple lumps and ask; is Fear Factory still Fear Factory without Dino?

One of the best episodes on one of the worst albums. Well, it's not bad exactly, it's just so painfully middle of the road that it hurts. Usually we'd try and bury the lead in the episode description but you should know full well before going into this episode that we're not fans of this release. But we spice it up with some Marty the Monster talk, one of the best sponsored ads ever and some Mr. Blobby chat.

Eminem's 2000 release, The Marshall Mathers LP was a monster success. This album was responsible for so many family photos being ruined by a teenage looking angry and flipping the bird. Can't we just have one nice photo for Christmas? No way, Mum. I'm 14 and no-one understands me except a rapper from Detroit.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and in all of the reviews of this album not one of them has mentioned grey chicken. Prove me wrong.

Tighter that Spag's crash cymbal on the Live Dosage 50 DVD is our episode on Mudvayne's album, L.D.50.
If you weren't around when Dig was first released, you probably know it from the memes now and that song did super well despite not having a real chorus or any hook other than an intense bass slap opening. But how does the rest of the album hold up? Not particularly well. Was the make up holding them back? Was it the fact that one of them had spikes hanging off his face? Was it because the opening drumbeat for Everything and Nothing is really cool and then gets needlessly tricky when the vocals come in? Or all of the above?
