In all circumstances, we are to take up the shield of faith. Circumstances are the area of satanic attack that require the shield of faith because they are often the battleground between fear and faith. Fear is an assault on faith, and both ask us the question, "what do I believe about my circumstances and about God?"

Our enemy is the accuser of our brothers and sisters. We stand against the accusations of the devil with the breastplate of righteousness: the gift righteousness from Christ that liberates us from the guilt, shame, and penalty of our sin and the growing righteousness from the Spirit that shows God is at work in us, conforming us to Christ.

The Lord is my Shepherd: my Provider, my Protector, my Prize.

The devil attacks us with lies, but believers put on the belt of truth.

We are called to spiritual warfare, to take our stand against the enemy. 

God doesn't need us, but he loves us and chooses to work in us and for us and through us.

There are times that Jesus calls us to come away with him and rest.
