This was a journey to remember! Matt spoke so openly & authentically about his past from being drawn into the BNP & their propaganda to his appearance as a poet on the Nationwide adverts. We discussed the schooling system at length & of course - a litta bitta poetry!

Matt Abbott is a Wakefield born poet, educator and activist. His ‘grown-up’ themes mainly centre around socio-political commentary, human struggle and kitchen sink realism.

His poetry for children centres around playful rebellion, challenging societal stereotypes and the struggles of modern life.

This was truly a bright & beautiful journey with Emma - where we discuss her creative process, traveling the globe, being adopted with all her trials and tribulations

'Smile' is the latest single from Jonjo Yano (released 30.08.21). Written while living in France and traveling on the road Jonjo heard some unsettling news about his cousin who had attempted suicide. It was right in the middle of making the instrumental when he was informed. This led Jonjo to write his lyrics reminiscing sweet memories with his cousin. The simple message of doing what you love.
